“Dr.STONE” Finale! Commemoration one-shot published at “Weekly Shounen Jump” Issue 31

The final volume of “Dr.STONE”, volume 26, was released on July 4, 2022. Also, the TV special “Dr.STONE: Ryusui” will be broadcast at 7:00 PM, July 10, on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels. To commemorate both of the releases, a 51-pages one-shot with a centre color was published on July 4, at “Weekly Shounen Jump” Issue 31.

“Dr.STONE” is a science craft adventure by Inagaki Riichiro and Bochi that was serialized on “Weekly Shounen Jump” from March 2017, and it has more than 14 million copies in circulation. Season 1 of the TV anime was broadcast in 2019 while the 2nd season was broadcast in 2021. On July 10, 2022, the TV special “Dr.STONE: Ryusui” will be broadcast.

The story of “Dr.STONE” has reached its finale on volume 26 that was released on July 4. In this final volume, it depicts Senku, Kohaku, and Stanley on the rocket to space after overcoming various obstacles.

To commemorate the release of “Dr.STONE” volume 26 and the broadcast of “Dr.STONE: Ryusui”, a 51-pages one-shot with a centre color was published on July 4, at “Weekly Shounen Jump” Issue 31. The story takes place after the story has ended, and it depicts the Senku using the power of science to achieve his goals after being thrown to the sea all of a sudden. So, don’t miss out on this if you are a fan.

Also, on the same day, the campaign “Kagaku wa, Kibou da.” (lit. Science is Hope) inspired by the worldwide known scientist Einstein has started. The “Dr.STONE Science Timetable” that depicts the events of “Dr.STONE” with the progression of science via the super long flashback, has been released on the designated website. Also, the outdoor advertisement and bookstore poster with the famous phrases of Einstein and the protagonist of “Dr.STONE”, Senku, have been released as well. The TVCM is currently available on the YouTube channel “Jump Channel”.
The impactful bookstore poster of Einstein’s photo with Senku’s famous line “How exciting” will be displayed in approximately 4,500 bookstores in Japan.

Other than that, don’t miss out on the various events, such as the collaboration pamphlet with International Science Olympiad, which will liven up “Dr.STONE” together with the release of the finale volume.
