Voice actors Kenichi Suzumura and Maaya Sakamoto announced the birth of their first child on their official websites in joint names.
Maaya Sakamoto is a voice actress known for her roles as Shinobu Oshino in the “Monogatari” series and Aerith in “FINAL FANTASY. VII”. In 2011, Sakamoto married voice actor Kenichi Suzumura, who plays Sogo Okita in “Gintama” and Zax in “FINAL FANTASY VII”.
Sakamoto announced her pregnancy on a blog on her official website on December 27, 2021.
On April 22, 2022, Kenichi Suzumura and Maaya Sakamoto announced on their respective official websites “Dear Our Supportive Fans,” and followed “We are happy to announce the birth of our baby. Thanks to your support, the mother and child are both doing well.”
They continued, “We hope to take it step by step and grow up together with our child. We appreciate your continued support Kenichi Suzumura and Maaya Sakamoto”.
