The voice actress Uchida Maaya, known for her role as Kanzaki Ranko of “The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls” and Katarina Claes of “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!” was featured in Oyatsu Company’s CM “Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor”. She sang the CM song “Baby-Star Lullaby” in a “Showa Idol” style in the CM.
“Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor” featuring Uchida is a Showa retro CM that combined the 1950s-1960s (birth year of Baby-Star) style animation with the well-paced of 1980s (Appearance year of the 2nd generation, Bei-chan).
This CM started broadcasting in August 2021 with the thoughts of “Making the tastiness of Baby-Star a memory” to those that “Haven’t eaten Baby-Star for a while”.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the third generation, Hoshio-kun, the three videos, “Baby-Star Lullaby Dodekai Arc”, “Ramen Maru Arc”, and “Ramen Otsumami Arc” were created. Uchida appeared as a “Showa Idol” and sung the CM song of “Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor”, titled “Baby-Star Lullaby” in an original arrangement.
