The official shop of Pokemon ‘Pokemon Center Shibuya’ and Japan’s representative bag brand ‘PORTER’ will team up to release new goods. The products will be available at Pokemon Center Shibuya and Pokemon Center Online on December 24th, 2021.

The ‘Pokemon’ series is an RPG in which a player goes on an adventure with creatures called Pocket Monsters (“Pokemon” for short). The franchise includes cross-media coverage with an anime series, comic books, and merchandise sales. The TV anime series started in 1997. Following that, the movie series started in 1998 and has always received great attention and reputation from the public.
On November 19th in 2021, Nintendo Switch ‘Pokemon Brilliant Diamond’ and ‘Pokemon Shining Pearl’, which are remakes of the games in 2006, were released and gained popularity.

In the midst of the Pokemon sensation, the franchise announced “Pokemon Center Shibuya x PORTER”. The products are inspired by ‘Pokemon Red & Green’ that were released in 1996, offering a lineup consisting of a two-way briefcase, backpack, and a shoulder pouch.

The prices are 39,600 JPY for ‘2WAY BRIEFCASE Pokemon Center Shibuya x PORTER’, 57,200 JPY for ‘BACKPACK Pokemon Center Shibuya x PORTER’, and 27,500 for ‘SHOULDER POUCH Pokemon Center x Shibuya’. Also, in commemoration of the release, a pop-up store will be open at ‘GATE’ located on the Shibuya PARCO first floor.
