The 1st free update for “Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles”, based on “Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba”, has been released on November 4, 2021. Along with the update, Rui (the Lower Moon Five) and Akaza (the Upper Moon Three) have appeared as playable characters on the Versus Mode.

Rui and Akaza have been added to the lineup of playable characters in the Versus Mode. Rui is good at attacking his enemies from afar, and he has various long-range attacking methods with the 2 types of flying weapons with traps that are easy-to-use and can directly attack the enemies. On the other hand, Akaza is an “All-rounder”. He is able to find in all ranges from the fierce assaults and strong techniques to the techniques that can be used for offensive and defensive and the easy-to-use flying weapons.

The “Online Mission” has been added as the new contents”, and Kimetsu points will be given upon clearing the selected mission. Other than this, a new reward board was added along with the famous lines and voting of the members. Minor bug patches have been applied as well.

The game “Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles” is currently available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
