A new media mix project “THE LAST METAL” has been launched with the theme of “authentic heavy metal” x “voice actors/actresses” x “revenge drama” has started. The cast members including Morikawa Toshiyuki, Ito Kento, and Suzuki Ryota, the visuals and music of the first band “Venomous 8”, and their participation in “Animate Girls Festival 2021” were announced.

“THE LAST METAL” is a music production by Takanashi Yasuharu, who has written music for “NARUTO: Shippuden”, “FAIRY TAIL”, and “Zombie Land Saga”, serving as the music producer and inviting various artists as composers and band members. This is a media mix project of “authentic heavy metal” x “voice actors/actresses” x “revenge drama.”
The story is about a group of deceased youths who form a metal band after being approached by “Vulcca”, who claims to be a messenger of God, and told that the supreme metal band chosen by God will have the right to return to this world.

This time, some information about the initial band “Venomous 8” has been announced;
Kento Ito as Shinguji Naru (Vo. & Gt.), Arthur Lounsbery as Hasumi Jun (Vo.), Suzuki Ryota as Ugaki Van (Vo.), Ueda Keisuke as Kudo Maya (Vo.), and Morikawa Toshiyuki as Vulcca (Manager).

Furthermore, the first music video “R.I.P.” (short ver.) of “Venomous 8” has been released for the first time along with the concept movie of “THE LAST METAL” and they will also participate in the anime event for girls “Animate Girls Festival 2021” to be held in Ikebukuro on November 6 and 7, 2021.
There will be musical instruments and character panels on display titled “Taking over Ikebukuro Sunshine City Fountain Square”. In addition to that, Morikawa Toshiyuki, Ito Kento, and Suzuki Ryota, Ueda Keisuke, and Takanashi Yasuharu, a music producer, will perform at the “AGF2021 Free Online Stage”.

<Storyline>
–Somewhere in the world, 8 young people died. The place where they woke up is “Crossroad”, a world between this world and another world, where only those who died with strong feelings of regret can reach. In this world, a decadent and violent city called “Deadlight City” has been created. The inhabitants there are people who have lost hope in this world, but have no desire to return, a bizarre cult that worships metal, and the only god, Vul. One day, a person claiming to be a messenger of God named “Vulcca” appears to the 8 young people. Vulcca assesses their feelings about this world and forces them to make a choice; You can play God’s music with me, or you can forget about revenge and rot in this city. The supreme metal band that is chosen by God will get the right to return to this world. The 8 young people, who had never had any contact with each other, eventually formed the metal band “Venomous 8” at the urging of Vulcca. The only thing they have in common is “revenge.” They cry out their emotions in metal and begin to weave a history of the band that will eventually become legendary. With a black flame in their hearts, they know that one day they will return to this world and take their revenge…
