“Golgo 13” Cartoonist Saitou Takao Died of Pancreatic Cancer. The “Golgo” Series will Continue
The cartoonist Saitou Takao-san, well known for “Golgo 13”, died of pancreatic cancer at 10:42 am on September 24, 2021. He was 84 years old.
Saitou-san is a cartoonist known for “Golgo 13” serialized in “Big Comic” for over 50 years, as well as “Onihei Hankachou” and “Survival”.
Due to the spread of COVID-19, the funeral was held with relatives only.
“Golgo 13” will continue in the future with the cooperation fo the staff members and editorial department, in accordance with Saitou-san’s dying wish.
