From “Getter Robo Arc”, “Otsukare-Sama Book”, a collection of illustrations and messages by director Kawagoe Jun, staff, and cast, will be released. Pre-orders are now available on Premium Bandai.
*’Otsukare-sama’ is a Japanese phrase meaning ‘Thanks for your hard work’ or ‘Good job’ in English.
“Getter Robo Arc” is the first anime adaptation of the final chapter of the “Getter Robo Saga”, which depicts the three young men with steel bodies and burning spirits and their robots fighting against the enemy that threatens the future of the earth and humanity .
Under the direction of director Kawagoe Jun, who worked on “Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo” and “New Getter Robo”, the animation was produced by Bee Media of the OVA “Getter Robo” series and studio A-CAT of “Soukou Musume Senki”.
As well as illustrations and messages by the director, staff, and cast, the book also contains a talk session by main staff, and features a front-cover newly drawn by Motohashi Hideyuki, who was in charge of character design and animation director.
“Getter Robo Arc Otsukare-Sama Book” is priced at 2,200 JPY (incl. tax). Pre-orders are available until 11:00 PM on November 8, 2021, and the delivery is scheduled for December.
