It was revealed that the “Betrayer White Knight” Kururugi Suzaku from “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion” will appear on the first smartphone game of “Code Geass”, called “Code Geass: Genesic Re;Code” (Release Date: September 27, 2021). At the same time, it was also announced that “Pre-release Broadcast” will be broadcast at 8:00 PM, on September 10, 2021.
“Code Geass: Genesic Re;Code” is an RPG that depicts a new revenge story of the new protagonist and other characters, along with the gathering of all the historical characters, including Lelouch, Akito, Renya, Orpheus, and Oldrin. The general supervising directors are Taniguchi Gorou and Ohkouchi Ichirou, Sunrise will be handling the planning and producing, CLAMP will be handling the original character design, and the staff from the original anime will participate in this as well.
This is the first game of “Geass” as well as the official sequel of the series.
The character detail of Kururugi Suzaku (voiced by Sakurai Takahiro) was released along with the appearance announcement.
It was also announced that the “‘Code Geass Genesic Re;CODE’ Genesic Pre-release Broadcast!” featuring Horie Shun (as the voice of the main protagonist Ar) and Takada Yuuki (as the voice of the heroine Gigi) as they share the latest game information and the first gameplay footage.
“Code Geass Genesic Re;CODE” will be released on September 27.
“‘Code Geass Genesic Re;CODE’ Genesic Pre-release Broadcast!” will be broadcast on YouTube Live, on September 10, from 8:00 PM to 9:10 PM.
