From “Rebuild of Evangelion” series, “EVANGELION:3.333 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.” that received an IMAX screening in January 2021 for a limited period has been released as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on August 25, 2021. Along with the release, “Maeda Mahiro’s Image Boards Collection”, which is included as a bonus, has been revealed.

Under the supervision of Anno Hideaki, “EVANGELION:3.333 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.” was produced by retaking the entire “Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.”(released in 2012), with high-definition images that were impossible to be achieved at that time, and received an IMAX screening in January 2021 for a limited period.

Upon the release of its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray, part of a image-boards collection by director Maeda Mahiro, which is included as a bonus, has been revealed. This collection organized the numerous image boards that were drawn by director Maeda Mahiro for the production of “Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.”.
The full-length footage that lasts for 21 minutes was newly recorded for this occasion, and will be included as a bonus. As it is containing different expressions from the main film and is filled with excitement, please do check it out if you are a fan.

The limited period edition of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray of “Evangelion: 3.333 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.” is priced at 8,580 JPY (incl. tax). These products are available on “EVANGELION STORE” and others.
