The main feature of this event is the exhibition of the original drawings and storyboards. There is enough space between each episode, so you can fully immerse yourself in each episode. There is a lot to offer other than the original drawings and storyboards, including the character setting sheets, and monitors, with which you can compare the Sen-dori video* while production and finished video, so that you can experience the production procedure from different angles.
*Sen-dori video: a video made by connecting original drawings by an animator, which will be made into the main video after being colored and integrated with a background.
In addition, the explanatory notes by the director and producer, descriptions of terminology, such as “original drawing”, “T.P (trace paint)”, and “back ground (BG)”, and explanations on monitors for each episode will allow you to deepen your understanding about anime production.
In the monitor description and explanatory video projection, you will be able to see the staff members working on the production, the “Sen-dori” video used for recording (comparison with the finished video is available), the behind-the-scenes video of the dancing scene featured in the ending, which will give you a general idea of anime production as well as “Jujutsu Kaisen”.
Please take a look at the actual exhibition below.
At the venue, you can enjoy the newly recorded audio guide by the cast members by downloading the dedicated application. Different guides will be offered for 1st part and 2nd part, so please try listening to both of them as long as you can secure the tickets.
