Nishiyama Koutarou passionately talked about his new mini album “Laundry”, which will be released on the same day. Shooting was directed by Nishiyama himself. The cameraman is Nishiyama’s old friend Tim Carroll and they talked deeply about their plans for this project.
The first theme announced by Nishiyama was “I want to take pictures of southern resort sites, for summer”. Tim Carroll reacted, “Is it California beach? Or Bali beach?”, then Nishiyama quickly replied “Bali! For sure”. The shooting plan progressed and the shooting included a photo at the beach and eating Bali dishes.

Not only did I proposed the theme, but I could talk with the cameraman beforehand and then made the decision. It was a rare opportunity. The theme for this time is Bali.
