The final result of The 1st Global ONE PIECE Character Popularity Contest has been announced! Oda Eiichiro commented, ‘It was such an exciting event’

‘The 1st Global ONE PIECE Character Popularity Contest’, a global popularity vote commemorating the publication of “One Piece” 1000th chapter, was held from January 4 to February 28, 2021. The final result has been announced on the “One Piece” official YouTube channel.

‘The 1st Global ONE PIECE Character Popularity Contest’ is an online voting project to see who stands at the top of all 1174 characters, and it has received more than 12 million votes from all over the world.

On May 5, ‘ONE PIECE TIMES – WT 100 Final Results Special -‘ was streamed on “One Piece” official YouTube channel, and the final results have been announced as 1st half and 2nd half.
The ranking has changed a lot from the mid-term report: 1st place went to Luffy, 2nd to Roronoa Zoro, and 3rd to Nami. Following them, 4th place went to Sanji, 5th to Trafalgar Law, 6th to Nico Robin, 7th to Boa Hancock. Luffy is blessed with solid popularity, and many female characters have advanced to higher positions.


‘ONE PIECE TIMES – WT 100 Final Results Special -‘ is available on the “One Piece” Official YouTube channel.
For the characters that were ranked in the top 50th and some other characters, newly-drawn illustrations by Oda Eiichiro will be revealed.
