The video service “ABEMA” has started the rental for “‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Special Event ~Kimetsu no Utage~” that was held in 2019. To commemorate this, it was decided that the streaming marathon for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” TV series will be held for 2 consecutive weeks.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is based on the same-name manga by Gotouge Koyoharu. It depicts the battle between the main protagonist, Kamado Tanjirou and the “Man-eating Demon” in the Taisho period of Japan.
This work is popular for the way of living of the appearing characters that risk their life in fighting the demon, and the kind and momentary story within the hard and serious moments. The film “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train” was a big hit as it took 1st place in the historical box office gross revenue.
“ABEMA” has started the rental for “‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Special Event ~Kimetsu no Utage~” that was held in October 2019, from April 27, 2021. To commemorate this, episode 1 to 14 of the TV series will be streamed on May 1 and May 2 while episode 15 to 26 of the TV series will be streamed on May 8 and May 9.
