“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Kochou Shinobu “Nichirin Blade” has been announced! Recreation of “Insect Breathing” & famous scenes
It was announced that Kochou Shinobu’s nichirin blade will appear as the 2nd installment of the make-believe toy of the “Nichirin Blade” from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”. Pre-orders have started since her birthday on February 24, 2021, on “Premium Bandai” and other stores.
The product has a total of 35 types of sounds recorded, such as the lines by Kochou Shinobu (voiced by Hayami Saori) like “Insect Breathing Butterfly Dance: Caprice”, and the effect sounds. The blade handle was recreated with orange and green while the guard on the blade has the design of a “flower petal”. Also, in order to express the setting of Kochou Shinobu, the blade part has a “butterfly” design, and it will also “glow”.
The sound of the product has two modes. The first variation is “Insect Breathing Mode”, and it contains the lines of the forms and her appearance speech with the effect sounds. The butterfly on the blade will glow when the sound is played.
The second variation is “Famous Scenes Mode”, it contains nostalgic and famous lines, like “Hello~ Are you okay?” and “Tomioka-san, this is against the rules”. The butterfly on the blade will also glow just like the “Insect Breathing Mode” when the button is pressed.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” DX Nichirin Blade ~Kochou Shinobu~” is priced at 5,995 JPY (tax included). Pre-orders are currently available on “Premium Bandai”. The release date is scheduled for April 24, 2021.
