With the latest manga volume 98, which was released on February 4, 2021, the manga “One Piece” has achieved 400 million copies in circulation in Japan while 80 million copies in circulation overseas, making it a total of 480 million copies in circulation worldwide.
“One Piece” has welcomed its 1000th chapter on the “Weekly Shounen Jump” Combined Issue 5 & 6, which was released on January 4. The story has reached the climax of the Wano Country Arc, where the all-out battle with the Beasts Pirates lead by Kaido and the Big Mom Pirates has started.
Ever since volume 57 of the manga was released in March 2010, it had achieved an outstanding record for 10 years, where more than 30 million copies are issued for each of the first print, and it has achieved new records right now.
In volume 98, a scene where all the 10 members of the Strawhat Pirates gathered, can be seen. The campaign “Makeruki Ga Shinee!!
