Humans have lived in the little habitable area for 1,000 years after a huge industrial civilization was destructed. Nausicaä, a daughter of The Valley of the Wind’s ruler, confronts various difficulties to restore the world, and eventually reaches the truth of the world.
The animated movie “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” based on the comics is scheduled to be broadcast on “Kinyou Roadshow!” on December 25 as the finale of this year, but the movie tells the story depicted in the first two volumes. An epic story after the movie is told in the comics.
