Furuya Tooru Sings “Gundam” and Hiyama Nobuyuki Sings “Gaogaigar”! “Seiyuu Kouhaku Sunrise Online Live”
The “Seiyuu Kouhaku Uta Gassen 2020”, which was canceled in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, has been announced to be held as an online concert. It will be called “Seiyuu Kouhaku Sunrise Online Live” and will be streamed online with no audience on February 21, 2021.
The host of the event is Sakaguchi Daisuke, well known for his roles as Uso Ewin from “Mobile Suit Victory Gundam” and Shimura Shinpachi from “Gintama”, and Namikawa Daisuke, well known for his roles as Kazehaya Shouta from “Kimi ni Todoke” and Ishikawa Goemon from “Lupin the Third”.
The voice actors who will be participating are Furuya Tooru, Gouda Hozumi, Inoue Kazuhiko, Yao Kazuki, Ikura Kazue, Tanaka Mayumi, Kusao Takeshi, Kanemaru Junichi, Seki Toshihiko, Matsumoto Rika, Takano Urara, Orikasa Ai, Inoue Kikuko, Hiyama Nobuyuki, Nojima Hirofumi, Tanaka Rie, and Yukana.
There will be talk sessions about various anime and the voice actors will sing the theme songs along with images from the anime. They will be featuring popular Sunrise works, including the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, “City Hunter”, “Mashin Hero Wataru”, and “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion”.
In addition, to commemorate the online concert, original goods inspired by illustrations of Sunrise anime will be sold on the Movic online shop.
“Seiyuu Kouhaku Sunrise Online Live” will be streamed online with no audience on February 21, 2021.
