From “JoJo”, Kishibe Rohan series will be made into a live-action drama! The actor Takahashi Issei will play Kishibe Rohan
“Kushagara” included in the novel “Rohan Kishibe Does Not Shout: Short Story Collection” derived from Araki Hirohiko’s manga “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” will be made into a live-action drama. It will be broadcast on NHK General TV under the title of the special drama “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” from December 28, 2020 for three consecutive nights. At the same time, cast members information including Takahashi Issei, who will play as Rohan Kishibe, was announced.
The original of “Rohan Kishibe Does Not Shout: Short Story Collection” is a novelized work based on the short manga “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” series that depicts the bizarre events where Kishibe Rohan encounters during his research in a horror-like manner..
5 original stories by 4 writers are included, and this time, one volume “Kushagara” written by Kitaguni Ballad will be made into a live-action drama.
In addition to Takahashi Issei playing as the main character, Kishibe Rohan, it was announced that Iitoyo Marie will be Izumi Kyouka, Shibazaki Fuga as Ikkyu, Moriyama Mirai as Shishi Jugo, Takiuchi Kumi as Katahira Mai and Nakamura Tomoya as Hirai Taro in the drama.
The special drama “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 10:00 pm to 10:49 pm on Dec. 28, 29, and 30 for three consecutive nights.
