High school girls x ceramics x local anime “Let’s Make a Mug Too” voice actor audition for a chance to work with Tanaka Minami and others!

The audition for voice actors for “Let’s Make a Mug Too”, an anime of “High School Girls x Pottery” will be held. The grand prize winner will have the chance to perform in the anime together with the main cast including Tanaka Minami, Serizawa Yuu , Wakai Yuuki and Honizumi Rina .

“Let’s Make a Mug Too” is a coming-of-age story set in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, in which four high school girls become fascinated with pottery through the traditional craft of Mino ware.
Based on a free comic published since 2012 by Planet, a local IT company in Tajimi City since 2012, the anime is directed by Kamiya Jun of “Kingdom” and “Hikaru no Go”, series composition and screenplay by Arakawa Naruhisa of “Kingdom” and “This Art Club Has a Problem!”, and produced by Nippon Animation, the producer of “Chibi Maruko-chan”, “Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern the Movie”, and the “World Masterpiece Theater” series.

The main cast consists of Tanaka Minami as Toyokawa Himeno, a sturdy freshman in high school whose mother is a legendary potter; Serizawa Yuu as Kukuri Mika, a free-spirited mood-maker who enlivens the pottery club; Wakai Yuuki as Naruse Naoko, an individualistic girl who for some reason has become a part of the pottery club; and Honozumi Rina as Aoki Juko, the head of the pottery club who approaches pottery making seriously .

The audition is open to women living in Japan who can prioritize the recording of the audition, and director Kamiya Yoshinari, series composition/screenplay writer Arakawa Naruhisa, and producer Tezuka Kenichi will participate as special judges. The grand prize winner will be able to perform as a voice actor in the anime “Let’s Make a Mug Too”.
