Sep. 25th is Inoue Kikuko’s birthday.

Inoue Kikuko debuted in the late 1980s. At the 4th Seiyuu Award, she won the Best Supporting Actress Award, and at the 10th, she won the Kazue Takahashi Award, which is given to women for promotion of the voice actress job.
In 2020, she appeared in “Cells at Work! The Return of the Strongest Enemy. A Huge Uproar Inside the Body’s “Bowels”!”, and “By the Grace of the Gods”

Therefore, to celebrate Inoue Kikuko’s birthday, like last year, we conducted a reader survey entitled, “Who is your favorite character played by Inoue Kikuko?” During the survey period from Sep. 10th to Sep. 17th, we received responses from 72 people.
The male-female ratio is about 45% for males and 55% for females. About 45% of the age group was minor, and about 30% were in their 20s.

■Macrophages topped the list for the second year in a row! Gap is popular.
1st place
The 1st place goes to Macrophages from “Cells at work!” again like last year, with an approval rating is about 25%.

Macrophages are a type of white blood cell that are present in the blood. Some comments pointed out the character’s appeal of both kindness and power, “She has the appearance of a beautiful woman, but I love the duality of laughing while killing bacteria in the blood.”, and “Even though it looks kind, I like her fighting with an ax.”
“Cells at Work! The Return of the Strongest Enemy. A Huge Uproar Inside the Body’s “Bowels”!” has been released now, and maybe it’s another reason why it’s leading.

2nd place
2nd place goes to Tendo Kasumi from “Ranma 1/2”, and it’s the same rank as last year.
Many people commented about how well the match between actress and character are, “I know about Kikuko-san because of the “Ranma 1/2″. She was perfect for Kasumi’s unfussy older sister, and I was shocked that there were people who matched the character and the person that much.”, and “Natural and gentle, Kikuko is like an older sister herself!”
There were many votes from teens and twenties, saying, “Her calm atmosphere that doesn’t fade over time is perfect! I wasn’t even born at the time of the broadcast, but it’s my favorite work.”

3rd place
3rd place goes to Chianti from “Detective Conan”. It has gone up a rank from 4th place last year.

Chianti is a member of the Black Organization and a great sniper. The great acting of warlike personality gained popularity, “I like her uplifting voice”, and we have received comments from people who get touched by the darkness of the movie version. The villainous side of the character that stands in the way of the protagonists was at the top of the list.

About Electra from “Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water”, “A beautiful, cool, tough and awesome woman.. The scenes with Captain Nemo are very impressive.”
About Lust from the “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST”, “She’s a really cool, strong and smart vilian. I think she’s the only reason the homunculus have been able to act as a cohesive, unorganized force to be reckoned with.”

About Tachibana Mayumi from “MIX”, “Even though she is a mother, she has a self-paced personality and is cute as a girl with an adorable healing voice.”
About AI’s role, Karen from “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, “Older sister AI who supports Peter (Spider-Man). Inoue Kikuko’s amazing voice was the best.”

In this survey appeared not only characters with cute looks, but also characters with attractive gaps, such as strong fighters and scary when angry.
