A smartphone app “BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!” has recorded a total of 20 million users from Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and English servers on Sept. 11, 2020.
As a commemoration, a log-in campaign to give out “2000 stars”, an item for a gacha (lottery), and other projects have been planned from Sept. 12.
“BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!” revolves around the world of “BanG Dream”, a next-generation girls band project which the characters and real-live link. This is rhythm and adventure game provided under the cooperation between Craft Egg and Bushiroad.
Easy process allows the maximum of 5 users play together at the same time, and the users can play both original songs from the BanG Dream! anime and the live-events and cover songs from popular anime. The game also contains story part, where the characters actively move in high quality Live2D.
There are a total of 4 campaigns to celebrate 20 million users.
In the app there are a gift of “2000 stars”, a “20 million user commemoration mission” that gives “3 or more starred characters ticket” and “miracle crystals”, and holds “20 million users commemoration miracle gacha ticket with a 4 starred character”, which allows the user to choose one “4 starred character”.
Moreover, on the official Twitter, “20 million users commemoration mug” will be given to 20 people who tweeted with a hashtag, “#reason_why_you_started_Garupa”.
The deadline for “20 million users commemoration hashtag campaign!” is the noon of Sept. 19, “20 million users commemoration present” and “20 million users commemoration mission” are 3:00 pm on Oct. 4, 2020, and “20 million users commemoration miracle gacha ticket with a 4 starred character” is 3:00 pm on Oct. 12, 2020.
