From “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” comes “Lightning Striker”, the Striker Pack that never appeared in the anime, under the fully colored action figure series “METAL BUILD”. Pre-orders are currently available at “Premium Bandai”.
The “Lightning Striker” is the Striker Pack developed for long-range sniping missions.
The Striker Pack has a Composite Pod with a distance measuring sensor and verniers, additional battery packs, and a Type 70-31 Electromagnetic Cannon (Long-range Electromagnetic Railgun). Strike Gundam equipped with this Striker Pack is called Lightning Strike. Mu La Flaga was the test pilot for the Lightning Striker Unit 1.
In addition to its original functions as a super-long-range weapon, the “METAL BUILD Lightning Striker” features original gimmicks of deploying the Composite Weapon Pods and transforming into an autonomous flying mode. The various silhouette it can recreate adds to the unparalleled play value.
It also can be equipped to the “METAL BUILD Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai (Alternative Strike ver.”)” and “METAL BUILD Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second Revise”, which are sold separately, to enjoy different variations.
“METAL BUILD Lightning Striker” is priced at 13,200 JPY (tax included). Pre-orders are currently available at “Premium Bandai”, and shipping is scheduled for June 2021.
