Ono Yuuki, a voice actor known for "Kuroko's Basketball" and "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", announced that he had welcomed his firstborn baby! He replied to the comments of congratulations from the fans, saying "I'm really happy as Daddy Yuu…"
Ono Yuuki-san, a voice actor known for the role of Kagami Taiga in “Kuroko's Basketball” and Higashikata Josuke in “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure”, announced that he had welcomed his firstborn baby on his personal blog on Aug. 28, 2020. After the post, “Ono-Yuu”, his nickname, became a trending word on Twitter.
Ono-san announced “I welcomed a boy as our firstborn baby.” on his LINE BLOG on Aug. 28.
He wrote about his feelings as “Things have finally calmed down, so I've decided to announce that.” and “Even though we are facing the difficulties, my baby has been born safely. I will bring him up with great love together with my wife.”
At the end, he wrote about his enthusiasm, “As the bread winner in my family and a voice actor, I will keep doing my best. Thank you for supporting me as always.”
The fans reacted to his comments as “I'm so glad to hear the good news!” and “Congratulations! Your baby must be cute. I hope you will be a good dad.” Some fan reacted uniquely by copying the line he voiced as “Congratulations! #おのゆー (Ono-Yuu) !!!!! Your baby is a boy, so he is a general !!!”
As he thanked the fans for their heart-warming comments, he tweeted “I'm really happy as Daddy Yuu…”
Ono-san will play the role of Jon H Watson in “Moriarty the Patriot” and Leocadio in “MAGATSU WAHRHEIT -ZUERST-“.
