The second stage performance of “Blood Blockade Battlefront”, which is based on the manga drawn by Naito Yasuhiro, has been decided. At the same time, it's been announced that Yamamoto Ikkei will join as a new cast.
“Blood Blockade Battlefront” is a work with a total of over 4.6 million copies in the series, has been serialized in “Jump SQ.” since 2008, and currently, “Blood Blockade Battlefront Back 2 BacK”, which is the second season, is being serialized in “Jump SQ.RISE”.
It was made into a TV anime in 2015 as “Blood Blockade Battlefront” and in 2017 as a “Blood Blockade Battlefront & BEYOND”, and the stage adaption was made after that.
The title of this work, which will be the second stage performance, is “The Stage 'Blood Blockade Battlefront' Beat Goes On”. Besides the theater troupe “AND ENDLESS” presiding as the scriptwriter and director, the world view of “Blood Blockade Battlefront” will be reproduced on stage with Nishida Daisuke, who directs and scripts many works.
At the same time, it's been announced that Yamamoto Ikkei will join as a new cast. Yamamoto Ikkei will act as Femt the King of Depravity.
“The Stage 'Blood Blockade Battlefront' Beat Goes On” will be performed in Tokyo and Osaka from Nov. 2020. Check out the ticket information etc. on the official website.
