“Gundarium Alloy”, which was used for the armor of Gundam from “Mobile Suit Gundam”, has been refined on Earth and made into parts for “Gundarium Alloy Model 1/144 RX-68-2 Gundam”. Pre-orders are currently available at “Premium Bandai”.
“Gundarium Alloy Model 1/144 RX-68-2 Gundam” is released under “LINK THE FUTURE”, a part of the Gunpla 40th anniversary project “GUNPLA LINK PROJECT”, as a “culmination of materials”.
The titanium alloy refined on the moon, “Gundarium Alloy”, which was used for the armor of Gundam in “Mobile Suit Gundam” was recreated by mixing titanium, aluminum, and the rare-earth element yttrium, refined with the latest metal forming technology, just like the settings in the anime.
The kit is assembled by fitting these Gundarium Alloy parts as armor on to the plastic internal frame.
“Gundarium Alloy Model 1/144 RX-68-2 Gundam” is priced at 220,000 JPY (tax included). Pre-orders are currently available at “Premium Bandai”, and shipping is scheduled for Dec. 2020.
