From “Neon Genesis Evangelion” comes a special version of Evangelion Unit-02 under the action figure series “METAL BUILD”. Pre-orders are currently available at “Premium Bandai”.
“METAL BUILD Evangelion Unit-02 [EVA2020]” has a [EVA2020] special coloring with its unique crimson red body repainted in glossy, metallic colors and silver accents in various parts.
The concept, “a giant with steel muscles” that has a living body with metal parts, was proposed by the designer of “Evangelion”, mechanical designer Yamashita Ikuto.
In addition to the Pallet Rifle, Thunder Spear, Progressive Knife, snap-off Progressive Knife, and Needle Launcher, the figure also comes with original equipment. Head goggles and thigh pylons were attached based on Yamashita Ikuto's idea, which gives it a high play value of METAL BUILD.
“METAL BUILD Evangelion Unit-02 [EVA2020]” is priced at 26,400 JPY (tax included). Pre-orders are currently available at “Premium Bandai”, and shipping is scheduled for Nov. 2020.
