Jun. 24 is “World UFO Day”.
It commemorates the first sighting of a UFO in the United States.
Many anime fans may be reminded of the anime production company ufotable. ufotable was founded in 2000 and has created many anime series since then. So, which title is the most popular among Anime!Anime! readers?
To answer this question, we conducted a survey asking, “Which Is Your Favorite ufotable Anime?”, and received 98 votes during the voting period from Jun. 13 to Jun. 19.
There were more female voters with a gender ratio of 40% male to 60% female, and the age range leaned to the younger side with 50% under 19 and 30% in their 20s.
■The beautiful images of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” and “Fate” were highly praised!
The anime to receive the most votes was “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” from 2019.
Comments pointed out the beautiful images such as, “I think it's the most beautiful anime I've ever seen. I can't thank ufotable enough!” and “It was amazing that each shot was true to the original manga. I loved the Water Breathing scene where whirling tides cover the whole screen.” There were also many fans that were introduced to the original manga by this anime. “The drawings of the anime, effects, etc. were all perfect. I'm looking forward to the 'Mugen Train' coming up in Oct. Also, I want to see “the story after that” become an anime!” is a comment from a fan looking forward to sequels.
The second popular was the “Fate” series. ufotable has worked on many titles of the series and among them, “Fate/Zero” and “Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]” were especially rated high. “The battle scenes are just so cool,” and “I was drawn into the story by the all small details such as the facial expressions and the motions of the characters,” show how fascinated the fans were.
There were also comments looking forward to the release of the latest title “Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel III. spring song” and comments saying they like the peaceful daily life in the cooking anime “Today's Menu for the Emiya Family”.

For “Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu”, “Swords, blood, night scenes, etc. There were many images ufotable is good at, and I was stunned by their beautifulness.”
For “Futakoi Alternative”, “This title is famous for its vigorous scenes, but I loved how 'NIKOPAKU Rhapsody' was just an ordinary slice-of-life anime.”
There were also votes for “Tales of Zestiria”, a title which they worked on the animations for the game and the TV anime adaption, “The anime drawings were beautiful, and the characters and story were well depicted in the anime.”
Many comments pointed out how beautiful and gorgeous the animation was, showing how people have an image of ufotable to be a studio that creates stylish scenes.
