Easter has been gaining a lot of attention in recent years as an event in April.
It is the day to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is set for Sunday following the first full moon, after the Vernal Equinox Day. In 2020, Easter is celebrated on Apr. 12.

The rabbit, which is the symbol of Easter, is known as the character who carries the Easter Egg. In the world of anime, there are many rabbit characters, but which one of them is the most popular?

Here at Anime!Anime!, we conducted a reader survey asking, “Who is your favorite anime's rabbit character?”. During the survey period between Mar. 31 to Apr. 7, a total of 154 responses were received.
There were more female respondents with the gender ratio being 25% male and 75% female. The age group was about 50% for those under the age of 19 and 30% for those in their 20s, mainly focusing on youngsters.

■The round-shaped Angora rabbit, Tippy from “GochiUsa” is on
top!
The 1st place goes to Tippy from “Is the Order a Rabbit?” with an approval rating of approximately 10%.

Tippy is a rabbit kept at the coffee shop, Rabbit House. Comments were received about the cute rounded shape which is the characteristic of the Angora rabbit, “I like the way he looks, he's fluffier than a normal rabbit”, and also some fans were impressed by the fact that he uses the top of Chino's head as his personal and usual place, “Speaking of rabbits, I can only think of Tippy sitting on Chino's head”.

The 2nd place goes to Kinako from “Idolish7” and Karashi from “Hozuki's Coolheadedness” with an approval rating of about 7%.

Karashi is the rabbit from the children's story “Fire-Crackle Mountain”. His grudge against the raccoon is what makes him so popular, “He looks like a cute rabbit, but when it comes to the raccoon, he goes out of control. It is funny to watch” and “When I first saw him, I was astonished at the difference in his personality when it comes to his grudge against the raccoon”.
Kinako is a rabbit kept at IDOLiSH7's office. Various comments were received, including some which praised the voice actor's performance, “I like her being fluffy and round-shaped” and “Satou Satomi, who played the role of the manager Tsumugi, was also the voice of Kinako, which I think was very cute”.

■Let's introduce other comments
Sakurajima Mai from “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai”, “I will never forget that bunny girl. All the rabbits that are depicted everywhere, such as the mobile phone case and the hair clip, are also cute”.

Souma Momiji from “Fruits Basket”, “Since he is the Rabbit of the Chinese Zodiac, he also moves around like a rabbit. His lovely face looks like a rabbit as well”.

The hit stuffed bunny from “Crayon Shin-chan”, “I feel pity for him. Because of Shin-chan, he is being hit by her mother, Nene to relieve her anger”.
Momoi Kenzou from “Servant x Service”, “He looks cute, and I like the gap with Koyama Rikiya's low-pitched voice! I also like the fact that he's being teased even though he's a Section Chief”.

In addition to real rabbits, the top-ranking includes a variety of other characters, such as rabbit lovers and those whose names are “Usagi” (which means rabbit). Up to 12 characters are tied to the 19th place.
