On Apr. 9, Shueisha had announced the delay on the release of the latest volume of the manga, which was supposed to be on May. 1, on the “Weekly Shounen Jump” official website.
The explanation on the “Weekly Shounen Jump” official website said, “It was decided based on the perspective to halt the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.” The release date for a total of 32 manga such as volume 20 of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, Volume 43 of “Haikyuu!!”, etc., will be changed.
Shueisha said while seeking for comprehension, “Regarding this inconvenience, we would like to apologize from the bottom of our heart to our beloved reader fans, bookstores, who are trying their best, and to all related personnel. We will inform you once again if there are any further changes. We would appreciate it if you could understand our decision.”
It was announced that the new release date is on May. 13, 2020.
