“Sanrio Puroland” is an indoor communication park where you can interact with various Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty. The museum is temporarily closed until early April in order to prevent the spreading of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Japan and overseas.
A video addressed to fans, “From Puroland to everyone,” has been released. The video shows the characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Little Twin Stars as if they were preparing for a behind-the-doors performance at the facility.
Fans, who received this message, responded on Twitter, “Since it's a special and important place for me, I'm happy to be able to see people, who are maintaining for the day we can meet again, and the energetic appearance of the characters. This way I can know that Puro is still glittering”, “I cried a little… I will always support you”, “I'll do my best until the day when I can go to Puroland again”, “I want to come back to Puroland soon”, and many other voices hoping for the situation to settle and looking forward to meeting the characters again were received.
