Comic Market 97, the world's largest doujinshi sale event, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from Dec. 28 (Sat).
Various booths were set up at the Aomi Exhibition Hall, which was already crowded with people from the first day. Among the booths, there was a popular booth with a line extending out of the hall and halfway around the building. It's the ufotable booth.
The lineup is very simple, it consists of only two works. The titles are “Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel]” and this year's “Dominant Anime”, the famous “Demon Slayer”. Both are well-known anime produced by ufotable.
The secret to its popularity lies with the strength of it being a production company's booth, mainly selling items, such as the original book collection and storyboards of these two major titles, allowing fans to delve behind the works.
Will ufotable continue to dominate in 2020?
