There will be an opportunity to watch "Castle in the Sky" (Laputa: Castle in the Sky) on the big screen again. The movie was selected to be one of the film screenings at the movie festival in Feb. and Mar. 2020, held in Chofu City, Tokyo, so viewers may be able to enjoy the classic film in high quality.
"The Town of Movies, Chofu: Cinema Festival 2020" selected "Castle in the Sky" as one of the movies that it will be screening during the event. The festival will run from Feb. 14, 2020 to Mar. 8, 2020, while the screening of the movie itself will be limited to only nine days throughout the duration of the event.
The screening venue will be at AEON Cinema THEATUS Chofu, Screen 10. In addition to having 526 seats, the large screen is about 20 meters wide and offers a high quality image. The large screen, combined with the 4-way surround sound system "ULTIRA" will ensure a truly immersive experience.
"Castle in the Sky" will be screening from Feb. 29, 2020 to Mar. 8, 2020. The entrance fee will be 1,100JPY for adults and university students, 1,000JPY for elementary and high school students, and 900JPY for children.
