"K-On!" 10th Anniversary Celebration! Commemoration Event With Exhibit and Special Goods Opens On Yui's Birthday
An event celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the anime "K-On!", including an exhibit and limited goods for purchase, will be held from Nov. 27, 2019 at Shibuya Marui. Included among the goods prepared for this 10 year anniversary celebration are a "T-Shirt", "Mug", "Acrylic Holder", and a "Tin Badge".
This event will start on Hirasawa Yui's birthday, Nov. 27, 2019 at Shibuya Marui, and will then be held on Dec. 26, 2019 at Hakata Marui. The exhibits include a timeline of the show, items from the show's production, and CDs will be on display. In addition to life-size standing panels of the characters on the show, other panels with messages attached, regarding the characters and show, will also be displayed.
The goods available include a "10 Year Anniversary T-Shirt" with the "After-School Tea Time" members gathered together, and a "10 Year Anniversary Mug" with the letters "Yui" inscribed in a bold print. Moreover, items like the "10 Year Anniversary Acrylic Holder" and "10 Year Trading Aluminum Badge Pt. 2" will have a unique design for each of the following characters: Hirasawa Yui, Akiyama Mio, Tainaka Ritsu, Kotobuki Tsumugi, Nakano Azusa, Yamanaka Sawako, Hirasawa Ui, and Manabe Nodoka. As an extra bonus, each purchase of 3000 Yen (Tax Included) will be accompanied with a postcard as a present.
The anniversary event will be held from Nov. 27, 2019 to Dec. 15, 2019 at Shibuya Marui. It will then be held again from Dec. 26, 2019 to Jan. 1, 2020 at Hakata Marui. The goods are scheduled to be on sale at the "Animaru!" website beginning on Jan. 15, 2020.
