「Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie」 (Part One) will be released in Japan on Sept. 11, 2020. For sailor moon series, the theatrical production has been 25 years since last work 「Sailor Moon SuperS: The movie black dream hole」
「Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie」 is an adaption of 「Dead Moon arc」 of 「Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal」.
The story begins on the day of biggest total eclipse of this century, when Pegasus Helios suddenly appears before Tsukino Usagi and Chibiusa, asking for help. It will be an adaptation of the most popular original episodes, depicting the fleeting love between Chibiusa and Helios and the maturation of the Sailor Soldiers.
Furthermore, flyers with visuals by character designer Tadano Kazuko will be distributed at Tokyo Yayoi Museum’s 「Best Friends」 exhibit from Oct. 25 until Oct. 27, and other related events like 「TAMASHII NATION 2019」.
The back side of the 「TAMASHII NATION 2019」 flyer is a fantastic visual that includes the original scene “Usagi and Chibiusa meeting Helios” by the original author, Naoko Takeuchi, who is participating as the general supervisor of the theatrical version. Fans will definitely want to get their hands on one of these.
