The movie “One Piece Stampede” recorded a reception of 3,117,929 people visiting the box-office to watch this film before 25th of August. Well over 3 million people! With that sort of traffic, there’s no wondering as to why the box-office revenues broke the 4.1 billion yen mark.
Not to mention, Monkey D. Luffy’s voice actress Mayumi Tanaka along with the rest of the Straw Hat Pirate crew have come together in a confirmed audio commentary supplementary release of the movie.
This audio commentary will contain all your favorite voice actors/actresses from the Straw Hat Pirates, in a special which blends the movie with the idle talk of the voices you love. Along with protagonist Monkey D. Luffy’s voice actress Mayumi Tanaka, we also have, Kazuya Nakai, Akemi Okamura, Kappei Yamaguchi, Hiroaki Hirata, Iku Ōtani, Yuriko Yamaguchi, Kazuki Yao, and Cho. The 9 members have come together and created a secret story added through post-production, including a walk down memory lane that unfolds within this talk, all of which can only be experienced on this supplementary version of the movie.
Other than this, there are many topics that will be discussed for example looking the 200+ characters that make an appearance on the show which the Straw Hat Crew Adventure along-side, and the characters that the crew take an interest in during their travels. Moreover, conversations regarding whether the cast prefers Shonen Jump Weekly magazine or the separate volumes, and questions about “Where do you think Brooke hid his stock of Afros?” are also approached in this audio commentary. A wide range of topics is covered during this special experience. Its almost like you are watching the movie alongside the Straw Pirate crew themselves.
